1/8 scale Porsche rsr build up

This is a build up of the old Entex 1/8 scale Carerra RSR model kit. At 1st glance the model does look substantial in the box;
once inside and building; I quickly realized that there will be much effort required to eliminated some of the "toy like"
appearance of this BIG model car. I am doing this write up and photo spread for all of my fellow modelers that never get to
actually see one of these kits built up! This model represents the very 1st racing turbo Porsche , and I will be building the #5
car. I will be working from photos of the #22 car; which was photographed by Marshall Buck of CMA....the car has been
"refreshed" but still remains significantly correct for the era. I will add more specific details as the model progresses.
